The Pumpkin Happening

Thanks to Stefanie and Rachel from The Umbra Institute “Urban Spaces” class, today the pupils of the fifth grade of XX Giugno Elementary School in Borgo Bello, know more about pumpkins and Halloween tradition!

Toghether with Prof. David Grohmann from the School of Agriculture (DSA3), they showed the children how to carve the pumpkin and save the seeds, while the children decided together what expression to draw on the pumpkin and draw their own.

At the end, according to the tradition, the candle was lit to mark the arrival of winter and chase away the evil spirits!
